Saurabh Vatsa assumed the role of Managing Director at Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd (NMIPL) in April 2024. His leadership comes at a pivotal time when Nissan is undertaking significant steps towards transformation in India.
With over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, Saurabh is an accomplished leader known for his P&L responsibilities and expertise in setting up brands from scratch. Previously at Stellantis, he played a key role in launching the Citroën brand in India. Also, his past association with General Motors included long-term assignment in South Korea, providing him with deeper insights into Asian markets.
Saurabh has worked across various functions, including Product Planning, Program Management, Sales Planning, Marketing, Communications, and Retail/Commercial Sales. He holds a degree from Delhi University and an MBA from the InternationalManagement Institute, along with an executive management program from the London Business School.
His industry knowledge and strategic vision make him a valuable asset in the mix of evolving landscape of the automotive sector.
